Traduzca marks its presence at the 3rd World Forum for Peripheral Local Authorities – FALP

Traduzca will take part in the 3rd World Forum for Peripheral Local Authorities – FALP, from June 11 – 13, at Unilasalle in Canoas. The meetings and debates will be held in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Some of the more prominent participants include the mayor of Vila Franca de Xira (Portugal), Maria da Luz Rosinha, the deputy mayor of Nanterre (France), Gérard Bezouille, the former mayor of Nanterre and French deputy, Jacqueline Fraysse, the former mayor of Iztapalapa (Mexico), Clara Brugada, and member of the Setúbal City Council (Portugal), Carlos Rabaçal, in addition to other officials from the Philippines and Egypt.

FALP will bring together about 1,000 peripheral and metropolitan local authorities, representatives of local authority networks, social and popular movements, academics and university researchers to discuss “Rights and Democracy for Unified and Sustainable Metropolises”.
